MELVILLE, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 29, 2019– Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (“Comtech”) (Nasdaq:
CMTL), announced today that during its third quarter of fiscal 2019, it
was awarded a five-year contract valued in excess of $100.0 million to
develop, implement and operate a Comtech Next-Generation 911 emergency
communications system for a Northeastern State.
In connection with the contract award, Comtech also announced that it
has acquired the state and local government Next Generation 911

Northeastern State. Comtech will perform similar services from April 29,
2019 through August 3, 2019.
Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech, said,

our ability to expand the scale and breadth of our innovative
market-leading products and services to state and local government
public safety agencies.”
Comtech will provide financial and other information concerning this
