Kaloom and Red Hat
Kaloom has collaborated with Red Hat to
build an automated and more easily deployable, next-generation,
software-defined network fabric technology that interfaces directly with
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
Kaloom has the capabilities of scaling to 1000’s of racks, with 100,000+
servers and its fabric essentially offloads data plane functions from
virtual machines and containers to the fabric itself. It’s fully
P4-independent protocol programmable.

Kaloom’s solution can offload key data plane functions in 5G directly on
the switch silicon, increasing throughput performance by 2x while
delivering 7x lower latency than traditional data center networking
solutions. The solution runs under the scenes atop of Red Hat
technology, including Red Hat OpenShift as the core platform.

Held May 7-9, 2019, in Boston, Red Hat Summit is the premier enterprise
open source technology event for thousands of IT professionals to
innovate and focus on high-performing Linux, cloud, automation and
management, container, and Kubernetes technologies. At Red Hat Summit,
customers, partners, and open source industry leaders from around the
world and across industries come together to learn, network, and
experience open source. With thousands of attendees and hundreds of
sessions, Red Hat Summit has become a must-attend event to hear about
innovations and best practices that are enabling the future of
enterprise technology.
