Capital (“H.I.G.”), a leading global private equity investment firm with over $34 billion of equity capital under management, is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Hankins to Managing Director of the H.I.G. Advantage Fund (the “Fund”). The Fund makes control equity investments in more stable, higher quality companies with EBITDA between $25 million and $100 million.
Matt has more than 15 years of private equity and investment banking experience having previously worked at Sterling Partners and J.P. Morgan. He earned his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago and a B.S. in Engineering from University of Michigan. Matt will be focused on business services and based in San Francisco.
