High Wycombe, UK, 4 September 2019 – International POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics announces the appointment of Mark Lloyd as Sales Director EMEA. Mark brings a wealth of business expertise to a pivotal role that will reinforce and expand Star’s presence across the EMEA region.
With Star’s reputation and sustained sales growth year on year, Mark will work with the EMEA sales team to strengthen and develop new partnerships with end users, resellers and software partners. Star’s philosophy to actively support direct and indirect customers via a strict distribution channel will suit Mark’s extensive experience of 30 years plus working in the technology arena. Having previously held senior positions at Tektronix and US Robotics he has spent the last 18 years in various roles at Konica Minolta managing resellers, distributors and end users. In his last role, Mark was on the main board as Sales Director for the Reseller Channel at Konica Minolta.
Mark’s appointment is the latest milestone in Star EMEA’s expansion plans following major investment in the German market with the opening of a new Branch Office. With Star continually pioneering industry-leading products, the manufacturer confirms its prominent position as a provider of traditional as well as innovative and unique tablet and cloud POS printing solutions. Mark is looking forward to developing new initiatives to strengthen and grow Star’s presence in the markets it addresses.
